The MoLo Hubs guideline report ‘Spatial planning & city design‘ has been published. The report defines considerations and good practices for spatial planning and city design and assists host partners in setting up their pilot. The report distinguishes two levels within the theme ‘spatial planning and city design’.
Hubdesign: its appearance (design, materials, and visibility) and life-cycle costs (initial, operation, maintenance, and disposal costs).
The neighborhood: contribution to local ambitions like accessibility, greening, social safety, and location selection.
During the pilot phase, the project teams will collect and analyze data to explore how MoLo hubs should be designed and located to strengthen their usage and contribute to spatial quality. The results and recommendations will be summarized in a white paper in 2026.
