The updated 2025 ACEA report comprehensively examines the tax benefits and incentives for zero-emission vehicle acquisition and charging/hydrogen refilling infrastructure in the EU, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
Conclusions:
- Over a third of EU member states do not offer incentives for acquiring zero-emission commercial vehicles.
- Only 12 countries offer incentives for charging infrastructure.
- Five EU member states (France, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, and Poland) do not offer a tax benefit for owning a zero-emission van, truck, or bus.
