JD Ochama expanding in Paris (F)

Ochama, the European omni-channel retail brand of JD.com, has recently expanded its pickup point network in Paris, aiming to boost fulfillment efficiency across France. Using JD Logistics’ Paris-based warehouse, this expansion allows customers to pick up their orders as early as the day after placing them. In addition, Ochama now offers next-day home delivery for over 1,000 select items, including fresh and frozen foods, electronics, home goods, and more, enhancing shopping convenience for French customers.

This development is a crucial milestone in Ochama’s European expansion, driven by a 172% year-on-year growth in order volume in France from January to August. Ochama aims to deliver a smoother and more efficient shopping experience to French consumers by optimizing fulfillment processes and offering a wide range of high-quality products.

Since its launch in the Netherlands in January 2022, Ochama has been dedicated to providing high-quality products at competitive prices. Benefiting from JD.com’s extensive global supplier network, Ochama’s product range includes fresh foods, home appliances, electronics, beauty products, and lifestyle goods. Over the past year, the brand has expanded its product offerings, including large appliances like air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, and electric bicycles, all backed by a 180-day replacement policy.

Ochama continues to innovate and expand across Europe, now offering home delivery in 24 European countries and operating more than 800 pickup points across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and France. In addition, Ochama has over 1,000 pickup lockers in the Netherlands and Belgium. The newly introduced “Ochama 1h Delivery” service in Amsterdam ensures orders placed between 9:00 A.M. and 11:00 P.M. are delivered within one hour, with late-night orders arriving by 10:00 A.M. the next day.
