When it comes to freight transportation, much attention is paid to the last mile of a delivery. But what about the final 50 feet? A lot happens after a delivery truck pulls into an alley or loading bay. In fact, 60 percent of a carrier’s time is spent after the truck stops. Reducing the amount of time a truck spends in a parking space can help cities better manage their curbs and more efficiently use space.
Join ENO Center for Transportation and Urban Freight Lab for a webinar on August 9 to learn about the innovations that can reduce a carrier’s dwell time at each stop and potentially solve the challenge of the Final 50 Feet.
Speakers:
Barbara Ivanov, Director, Urban Freight Lab
